Hole #1
From the elevated tee a well positioned drive carries the left end of the ridge, but beware the natural landfall that carries the ball away further to the left and into the tree line. Go to the right and you flirt with the trees and heavy rough on both sides of the ridge. The green is nestled between 2 bunkers and protected at the back by a steep, well grassed bank. A testing opening hole.

Hole #2
A steady drive down the centre leaves only a short to mid iron into the gently sloping green. Beware the out-of-bounds down the entire right side of this hole. Misjudge the second shot and out-of-bounds beckons less then 10 metres behind the hole.

Hole #3
A good tee shot into this stepped green is very important, especially if the pin is on the top step. The narrow entrance to the green is well protected by 2 bunkers. Better to be a little short rather than long and find your ball nestled down in the long surrounding grass.

Hole #4
A relatively straightforward par 4 provided you can hit straight. On the left 2 large ponds await while the right hand side is guarded by a line of pine trees. Miss the green on either side and you have a sand shot or a difficult chip to a sloping green

Hole #5
A big left-hand dogleg par 5. For all but the longest hitters it will take 2 to get around the corner. The ideal drive goes down the right-hand side of the fairway opening up the dogleg. For the patient player the green can be reached in 3 with a mid iron for the third shot. Just watch out for the out-of-bounds less than 5m behind the green.
Hole #6
A deceptively simple looking short par 3. Miss the green to the left or go long and you face a difficult downhill chip back to the flag. The large bunker, front right, is hidden from the tee by the tall grasses on the ridge.
Hole #7
One of the more difficult holes. Plenty of room out to the left but this takes you away from the green. The brave or confident player will drive toward the narrow neck of the fairway. But take care - slide off to the right and you best leave your ball in the reeds with the snakes. Two large bunkers protect the left hand side of the green. A very long green where you can be left with a long, breaking putt.
Hole #8
Uphill all the way to a large deceptively sloped green. The generous fairway narrows down as you approach the green. The deep bunker and steep slope to the left make for a difficult recovery shot should you stray this way. Beware the hidden slope on this green - many a player has walked off the 8th with 3 or more putts to their name.
Hole #9
A seemingly easy hole protected by large bunkers either side and a very narrow entrance with a false front. Leave the tee shot just a fraction short and it will roll back 20m towards you. Shot placement off the tee is crucial to this sloping, stepped green.
Hole #10
An easy par 5, down hill all the way. Only danger is the out-of-bounds down the entire left-hand side and a small pond on the right just short of the green. Most players can reach the front of the relatively putter friendly green in 3. A good chance for a birdie for mid and low handicap players.
Hole #11
The hardest hole on the course particularly when the prevailing wind is into your face off the tee. The green is protected by a large vegetated mound on the right and 2 bunkers on the left. Any approach shot landing short will run away sharply to the left and towards the front bunker. Leaving your approach shot on the same level as the pin is paramount on this undulating, stepped green.
Hole #12
A reachable green for the shorter markers. This short par 4 is protected by the fact that you are teeing off through a narrow tree lined chute with overhanging branches. Not much trouble if you hit straight and low but check out all the scars on the front gum tree. Finish in the deep bunker on the front right and you might not get a sight on the flag. Long or off to the right leaves a difficult downhill chip to the hole.
Hole #13
The newest hole on the course. A gentle dog leg left to a well bunkered green with a large false front. Placement of your drive is crucial on this hole. The bunker on the top left of the hill is well within the range of most lower markers. Finish up in the bunker and a good birdie chance can become a difficult par. A good drive is positioned on the right hand side of the fairway to open up the green for the second shot. Most mid to long handicappers will finish just short of the green for the second - hoping for a good chip and 1 putt for a birdie chance.
Hole #14
This hole is now playing the brand new tee located to the right of the new development, it has been extended an additional 30 metres so driving the green now is more of a challenge for the longer hitters.
The 3 bunkers surrounding the front half of the green lie in wait and the chip from the longer grass behind the green is not any easy one. A safe shot reaches or goes just past the trees jutting out on the left leaving a short to mid iron into the 2 tiered green is the safe approarch.
Hole #15
A difficult par 4 up the hill. A good drive off the elevated tee should reach the bottom of the gully leaving a long iron or wood to the green. Go left on the second and risk losing the ball in the clumps of long grass. Stray of to the right and any chance of a par is all but gone. The gently sloping green is well protected by a deep bunker on the left and should you finish short in the right bunker you are faced with a difficult long shot to the flag. Coming up the hill to an elevated green can make the approach shot hard to judge.
Hole #16
Right is definitely not the place to be on this hole. If you miss the 2 bunkers to the right then the fairway falls away dramatically leaving a difficult approach shot over the bunkers and under overhanging pine branches. To the left there is out-of-bounds and 2 bunkers hidden behind the grasses. Hit the ball straight and this is a good birdie chance. Beware with the flat stick, this green looks deceptively flat.
Hole #17
One hole on the course that can break your heart. Finish long and a bogie is the best you can hope for as it is almost impossible to stop the ball running of the front of the green. Leave the tee shot short and you will need a bit of luck to scramble a par. This postage stamp green offers no easy puts as the ball runs on and curves sharply from just about every angle. If you are going to finish short leave it in the bunker.
Hole #18
A good birdie chance to finish the round. Longer hitters can be putting for an eagle while even the shorter hitters can reach the fringe with their third shot. The approach to the green is fairly generous and the bunker on the left doesn't really come into play too much. Take care not to finish in the deeper bunker at the back right leaving a difficult bunker shot down the sloping green. Much better to leave the ball short of the flag allowing an attacking putt up the slope.- Meters:
